Emergency Fastening Device (EFD) is deployed with Belt Pretensioner at the same time to pull down the seat belt strongly If it gets into its deploy condition after a collision. It is located at near anchor on driver and passenger seat and it is an equipment to make up for the existing short stroke. EFD is an auxiliary equipment to prevent a driver and passenger from breaking away doubly as seat belt is not loosened being toward anchor side after a collision.
