IG KEY "ON".

2.

Connect probe to signal terminal of wheel speed sensor connector and select oscilloscope function with GDS.

3.

Check the service data of vehicle speed and waveform of wheel speed sensor at the driving status.

Specification : Be changed according to driving condition.

Is the measured value normal ?

▶ Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor’s and/or ECM’s connector or was repaired and ECM memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and go to "Verification of vehicle Repair" procedure.

▶ Faulty in vehicle speed : Substitute with a known - good ECM and check for proper operation.

If the problem is corrected, replace ECM and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

▶ Faulty in wheel speed sensor : Substitute with a known - good wheel speed sensor and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace wheel speed sensor and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
