1. Check transponder and ECU status

IGN "ON" & Engine "OFF" with key intended to register

Monitor the "ECU, KEY, Smartra STATUS' Parameter on the GDS.
Specification : 'LEARNT'
Fig.1) This data show that 3 keys have been taught, ECU has been learnt, Key in key cylinder has been learnt and SMARTRA3 has been learnt.

Has the "Smartra STATUS" been learnt ?
 | ▶ Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the PCM/ECM or SMARTRA connector or was repaired and PCM/ECM memory was not cleared. Throughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration or damage.Repair or replace as necessary and go to "Verification Vehicle Repair" procedure |
