Measure the resistance between "ground" terminals of the ECM harness connector and chassis ground after disconnecting ECM harness connector.
■ Specification : Below 0.8 Ω
Measure the resistance between "ground" terminals of the ECM harness connector and chassis ground after disconnecting ECM harness connector.
■ Specification : Below 0.8 Ω
Is measured resistance within the specification?
 | ▶ Substitute with a known-good ECM and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, Replace the ECM. |
 | ▶ Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. ▶ Check for open circuit in the ground circuit between "ground" terminal of the ECM harness connector and chassis ground. |
