Connect GDS to Data Link Connector(DLC).

ENG "ON".

3.

Warm-up the engine until the engine temperature reaches the normal operation temperature.

4.

Use the GDS, check the system for fault.

If there is a fault in the vehicle speed-related system, repair the system, select the LKAS system and monitor the DTC.

Is the fault code re-generated ?

▶ Replace IPM or Cluster with a working unit. If the replaced unit works properly, replace IPM or Cluster with a new unit, and then perform the "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

▶ Replace LKAS with a working unit. If the replaced unit works properly, replace LKAS with a new unit, and then perform the "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

▶ Repair as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

Connect GDS to Data Link Connector(DLC).

7.

IG "ON" or ENG "ON".

8.

Check if the GDS displays a fault code.

Clear the fault code with the GDS, and then run the engine at 60 km/h to see if the Malfunction Indicator Lamp is turned on again.

9.

Using the GDS, check if there is any fault in the MDPS system.

If there is a fault in the cluster system, repair the system, select the LKAS system and monitor the DTC.

▶ Go to next procedure.

▶ Repair as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
