Connect GDS to Data Link Connector(DLC).

Ignition "OFF".

Diagnose EPB with GDS for DTC and state information.

Perform the procedure below if C1604 is active DTC.

Fix other DTC first, if there is any

After IGN Off, wait for 4 minutes then turn IGN back on.

After deleting DTC, perform IGN Off/On there time.

If C1604 is still active DTC, perform the procedure below.

▶ Substitute with a known-good EPB ECU and check for proper operation. If problem is corrected, replace EPB ECU(inside EPB ASS'Y) and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
