IG OFF.

2.

Disconnect the Fuel Pressure Regulator Valve (FPR) connector.

3.

Connect probes to each terminal of FPR connector.

4.

Measure FPR resistance.

Specification : Approx. 5Ω

Is the measured resistance within specifications?

▶ Check for poor connection between PCM and component:

Backed out terminal, improper mating, broken locks or poor terminal to wire connection.

Repair as necessary and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

▶ Substitute with a known-good component and check for proper operation.

If the problem is corrected, replace the component and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
