The Intake door is located at the heater unit and controls the source of air entering the HVAC system (Fresh or Recirculation). The door is controlled via a motor that changes the intake door position. The actuator includes a potentiometer that monitors position of intake door. When driver operates the intake switch, the HVAC ECU receives a signal and then commands the door motor to turn intake door to the intended position.
The Airconditioner Control Module sets DTC B1208 if the Feed Back signal of Intake Actuator has been detected open or below 0.1V for 0.3 seconds.
