EPS(MDPS=Motor Driving Power Steering) uses an electric motor to provide directional contol to the driver. An electric mortor consumes much current during operating. It can be overheat under excessive use, at that time EPS ECU restricts motor current for protecting EPS from unexpected problem.
This code appears when EPS(MDPS=Motor Driving Power Steering) ECU Temperature is raised over 85℃ due to the hurried steering results.
In this case, EPS steering assistant will be limited and reduces the electric current in the motor.
If the temperature is raised over 120℃, then steering assistant will be stopped.
