1. CVVL Sensor
CVVL (Continuously Variable Valve Lift) is a system that can change the valve lift continuously and it controls the amount of air flow by variable valve lifting. CVVL drives the valve lifts with optimization for engine RPM and improves fuel efficiency through reducing the pumping and friction loss. Also it can reduce the activation time of catalyst by improvement of response speed for acceleration.A error occurs if the large friction due to engine defects causes stuck or delayed reaction when PCM controls CVVL motor.
ECU sets P103B when there is a problem during monitoring the deviation of engine control (stuck engine or friction increasing)
