1. CVVL Motor
CVVL (Continuously Variable Valve Lift) is a system that can change the valve lift continuously and it controls the amount of air flow by variable valve lifting. CVVL drives the valve lifts with optimization for engine RPM and improves fuel efficiency through reducing the pumping and friction loss. Also it can reduce the activation time of catalyst by improvement of response speed for acceleration.
PCM accurately controls the CVVL motor by PWM type receiving power from battery.
ECU sets P1030 when the power voltage for the CVVL motor control from PCM is higher than 17V.
