Ignition "OFF".

2.

Connect GDS to Data Link Connector(DLC).

3.

Ignition "ON".

4.

Monitor "Main Relay ON" parameter in "Current Data" with GDS.

Test Condition : Ignition "ON"

Specification : Refer to Figure below

Is measured value within specification?

▶ Fault might be intermittent and caused either by poor contact in connectors or wiring harness, or it has been repaired and control module memory is not cleared yet. Thoroughly check terminal of battery, all connectors ( and connections) for looseness, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, and/or damage.

▶ Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

▶ Go to next procedure.

Connect GDS to Data Link Connector(DLC).

8.

Ignition "ON" & Engine "OFF".

9.

Perform "Main Relay" in "Actuation Test" with GDS.

10.

Monitor "Main Relay ON" parameter in "Current Data" with GDS.

Specification : Refer to Figure below (Also, operating sound(Motor sound) is heard)

Is the parameter displayed within specification?

▶ Fault might be intermittent and caused either by poor contact in connectors or wiring harness, or it has been repaired and control module memory is not cleared yet. Thoroughly check terminal of battery, all connectors ( and connections) for looseness, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, and/or damage.

▶ Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

▶ Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.

▶ If no problems were found with the circuits or connectors, Replace the Main Relay and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
