Termminal & Connector Inspection
1.

Many malfunctions in the electrical system are caused by poor harness(es) and terminal condition. Faults can also becaused by interference from other electrical systems, and mechanical systems or chemical damage.

2.

Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.

3.

Has a problem been found?

▶ Repair as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" Procedure.

▶ Go to "SPAS Switch Indicator Circuit Inspection" Procedure.

SPAS Switch Indicator Circuit Inspection
1.

Ignition "ON"& Engine "OFF"

2.

Disconnect the SPAS Switch connetor.

3.

Measure the voltage between the switch Indicator circuit of the SPAS and the body ground.

Specification : about 5V

4.

Is the measured value within specifications?

▶ Substitute with a known-good Sampe of SPAS Switch and check for proper peration.

If problem is corrected, replace SPAS Switch and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

▶ Check the open or short of the SPAS Switch Indicator cirucit.

And then go to "Verification of vehicle Repair" procedure.
