VSM(vehicle safety management) receives a steering torque amount that is calculated by ESP(VDC) ECU and VSM output signal. Then, check for VSM output signal along with a steering torque piling method to pile up with the amount VSM suggests.
The EPS(MDPS=Motor Driving Power Steering) ECU sets DTC C1692 if it doesn't receive VSM(vehicle safety management) signals from ESP(VDC) ECM.
