Ignition "OFF"
Disconnect Driver Mode Actuator and connect A/C control module main harness connector.
Connect (+) terminal of battery to WARM(+) of Driver Mode Actuator and (-) terminal to COOL(-). (Component side)
Verify that the Driver Mode Actuator operates to the WARM position.
Verify that the Driver Mode Actuator operates to the COOL position with reverse connecting. ( COOL(+) and WARM(-) ). (Component side)
Check for proper operation when BATT(12V) power is supplied and follow safety regulations.

![]() | ▶ Substitute with a known-good Driver Mode Actuator and check for proper operation. ▶ If the problem is corrected, replace Driver Mode Actuator and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure. |
Ignition "OFF"
Connect Driver Direction potentiometer(Mode Actuator) and A/C control module main harness connector.
Ignition "ON" , Engine "OFF"
Measure voltage between Signal(F/B) terminal of Driver Direction potentiometer(Mode Actuator) harness connector and Sensor ground(-) terminal of A/C control module harness connector. (Component side)

Is measured value within specification?
