1. CVVL Position Sensor
CVVL (Continuously Variable Valve Lift) is a system that can change the valve lift continuously and it controls the amount of air flow by variable valve lifting. CVVL drives the valve lifts with optimization for engine RPM and improves fuel efficiency through reducing the pumping and friction loss. Also it can reduce the activation time of catalyst by improvement of response speed for acceleration. ECU monitors the temperature of CVVL motor and wire because CVVL motor consumes large amount of power.
ECU sets P06A5 when the CVVL Position Sensor is short to power.
