1. CVVL Sensor
CVVL (Continuously Variable Valve Lift) is a system that can change the valve lift continuously and it controls the amount of air flow by variable valve lifting. CVVL drives the valve lifts with optimization for engine RPM and improves fuel efficiency through reducing the pumping and friction loss. Also it can reduce the activation time of catalyst by improvement of response speed for acceleration.PCM saves the maximum and minimum angle values of control shaft into deactivated memory, once it is installed. If this adaptation process isn't conducted, it is unable to control CVVL.
Adaptation process is not conducted or the angle value is off the optimal range after adaptation is conducted.
