Many malfunctions in the electrical system are caused by poor harness and terminals.
Faults can also be caused by interference from other electrical systems, and mechanical or chemical damage.
Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.

Install a probe to 87 fuel pump relay using oscilloscope.
Engine ON/OFF
Check the changes of operation voltage for CVVL motor relay by the condition of engine operation.
Check the voltage from CVVL Motor relay to PCM.
Specification : 12V
Is the measured voltage within specification ?

| ▶ Check the operation status of CVVL motor relay and open circuit of CVVL motor power supply and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure. |
