Terminal and Connector Inspection
1.

Many malfunctions in the electrical system are caused by poor harness and terminals.

Faults can also be caused by interference from other electrical systems, and mechanical or chemical damage.

2.

Thoroughly check all connectors (and connections) for looseness, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, and/or damage.

3.

Has a problem been found?

▶ Repair as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

▶ Go to "Control Circuit Inspection" procedure.

Control Circuit Inspection
█ Control(High) Circuit Inspection
1.

Ignition "OFF".

2.

Disconnect Battery (-) terminal.

3.

Refer to "Shop Manual" and disconnect injector

5.

Is measured value within specification?

▶ Go to next procedure.

▶ Repair open in control(high) circuit between Injector and PCM and then go to "Verification of vehicle Repair" procedure.

█ Control(Low) Circuit Inspection
6.

Ignition "OFF".

7.

Disconnect Battery (-) terminal.

8.

Refer to "Shop Manual" and disconnect injector

10.

Is measured value within specification?

▶ Go to "Component Inspection" procedure.

▶ Repair open in control(low) circuit between Injector and PCM and then go to "Verification of vehicle Repair" procedure.
