Securely connect the brake lamp switch and PCM connector.
Ignition "ON".
Back probe and measure voltage between Pin No. 1 (Power) terminal and Pin No. 2 (Signal) terminal of brake lamp switch.
Operate brake pedal.
Specification : On Brake pedal not pressed : Approx. 12 V / On Brake pedal pressed : Approx. 0 V
Is measured value within specification?

Thoroughly check terminal of battery, all connectors ( and connections) for looseness, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, and/or damage. ▶ Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure. |
