Many malfunctions in the electrical system are caused by poor harness and terminals.
Faults can also be caused by interference from other electrical systems, and mechanical or chemical damage.
Thoroughly check all connectors(and connections) for looseness, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, and/or damage.

Disconnect BSD ECU(RH) connector and TCU connector.
Measure the resistance between CAN-HIGH terminal of BSD ECU harness connector and CAN-HIGH terminal of TCU harness connector.
Measure the resistance between CAN-LOW terminal of BSD ECU harness connector and CAN-LOW terminal of TCU harness connector.
Specification : below 1Ω
Is the measured resistance within specification?
![]() | ▶ Check BSD ECU connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure. ▶ Substitute with a known-good BSD ECU and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace BSD ECU and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure. |
