Ignition "OFF".
Connect GDS to Data Link Connector(DLC).
Ignition "ON", engine "OFF".
Select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes(DTC)" mode.
Check for any DTCs on the "Diagnostic Trouble Code(DTC)" with GDS.
Erase DTC.

After erase DTC Check for any DTCs again.
Is the same DTC occurred again?

![]() | ▶ Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor's and, or A/C control module 's connector or was repaired and A/C control module memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination,deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure. |
Connect GDS with diagnostic connector.
Warm up the engine to normal engine temperature after engine starts.
Select and monitor "In-car temperature sensor1" parameter on the "Current Data" with GDS.
Fig.1) Parameter of "In-car temperature sensor1" will be fixed at 25℃(77℉), if there is any fault in INCAR SENSOR.
Is parameter displayed within specification?
![]() | ▶ Substitute with a known-good A/C control module and check for proper operation. ▶ If the problem is corrected, replace A/C control module and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure. |
