Check for the DTC
■ DTC Inspection
1.

Ignition "OFF".

2.

Connect GDS to Data Link Connector(DLC).

3.

Ignition "ON", engine "OFF".

4.

Select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes(DTC)" mode.

5.

Check for any DTCs on the "Diagnostic Trouble Code(DTC)" with GDS.

6.

Erase DTC.

7.

After erase DTC Check for any DTCs again.

8.

Is the same DTC occurred again?

▶ Perform following procedures.

▶ Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor's and, or A/C control module's connector or was repaired and A/C control module memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

Monitor GDS Data
■ Actuation Test
1.

Connect GDS with diagnostic connector.

2.

Warm up the engine to normal temperature after engine start.

3.

Select " Intake Potentiometer " parameter on the "Current data" with GDS.

4.

Perform "Actuation Test" for "Air Inlet Mode Selection - Recirculation /Fresh" in order.

5.

Monitor parameter value change in accordance with performing each "Acutation Test".

Specification : Recirculation : About 90%, Fresh : About 10%.

6.

Is parameter displayed within specification?

▶ This is a intermittent problem caused by poor contact of component or Control Module.

▶ Thoroughly check the looseness, poor connection, bent, corrosion, contamination, deformation or damage of connector.

▶ Repair or replace as necessary and then, go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

▶ Go to "Wiring Inspection" procedure.
