Place vehicle and wait until brake disc is cooled down.
Turn the Ignition "OFF" and "ON".
Connect GDS to Data Link Connector(DLC).
Monitor "Diagnostic Trouble Codes(DTC)" with GDS.
Clear all DTCs in the system with GDS.
Re-check DTC in the system with GDS.
Are any DTCs stored in the system?
![]() | ▶ Substitute with known-good HECU and then check for proper operation. If problem is corrected, replace HECU and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure. |
In case of replacing HECU, perform following procedures.
1. "ASP Calibration" for steering angle sensor offset correction.
2. "Longitudinal G-Sensor Calibration" for longitudinal sensor offset correction.
3. "Variant Coding".

Thoroughly check terminal of battery, all connectors(and connections) for looseness, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, and/or damage. ▶ Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure. |
