GDS Data Analysis
■ DTC Inspection
1.

IG "OFF".

2.

Connect GDS.

3.

IG "ON" and engine "OFF".

4.

Select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes(DTC)" mode.

5.

Check for any DTCs on the "Diagnostic Trouble Code(DTC)" with GDS.

6.

Erase DTC.

After erase DTC Check for any DTCs again.

Is the same DTC occurred again?

▶ Go to "Current data" and "Actuation Test" procedure.

▶ Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the SJB's connector or was repaired and SJB memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

■ "Current data" and "Actuation Test"

IG "ON" & ENG "OFF".

10.

Select "Current data" and "Actuation Test" mode.

11.

Monitor "Static Bending Lamp RH Output" in the "Current Data" and Perfom "Static Bending RH Output" in the "Actuation Test" with GDS.

Fig.1) "Static Bending Lamp RH Output" parameter shows "ON" when Static Bend Lamp RH operates properly on Actuation test of "Static Bending RH Output".

Fig.2) When Static Bend Lamp RH operates on performing Actuation Test of "Static Bending RH Output".

12.

Is Static Bend Lamp RH working normal?

▶ Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

▶ Go to "Terminal and Connector Inspection" procedure.
