LKAS is an abbreviation of Lane Keeping Assist System. During vehicle operation at 60 km/h, if the vehicle gets out of the existing lane, LKAS helps the driver to maintain the vehicle within the lane through steering wheel control and alarm. LKAS exchanges CAN data with each unit to control the MDPS motor.
The EPS(MDPS=Motor Driving Power Steering) ECU sets DTC C1804 if it doesn't receive LKAS signals from PCM.
