Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) cable.

Remove the intake manifold.

(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "Intake And Exhanst System")

Disconnect the knock sensor connector (A).

Remove the installation bolt (B), and then remove the sensor from the cylinder block.
