Disconnect the connector (A) connected to the rear bumper.
Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
Remove the rear bumper.
(Refer to the BD group - "Rear bumper")
Disconnect the connector (A) connected to the rear bumper.
Pull out the sensor (A) by opening the sensor holder (B) out.
Disconnect the sensor connector (B) from the sensor (A) inside of the rear bumper.
Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
Remove the crash pad lower panel.
(Refer to the BD group - "Crash pad")
Remove the steering column assembly.
(Refer to the ST group - "Steering column and shaft")
Remove the BCM.
(Refer to the "Body control module")
Remove the buzzer (A) after loosening the bolt and disconnecting the 2P connector.
Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
Remove the crash pad lower panel.
(Refer to the BD group - "Crash pad")
Remove the crash pad side switch assembly (A) as shown below picture.
Put on gloves to protect your hands.
Remove the RPAS switch (A) after disconnecting the connector.
Connect the connector, and then install the sensor.
Install the rear bumper.
Install the buzzer.
Install the BCM and steering column assembly.
Install the crash pad lower panel.
Install the RPAS switch and crash pad switch assembly.
Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.
