Remove injectors.(Ensure the absolute cleanliness to prevent an inrush of foreign substances in high pressure fuel pipe.)

To remove high pressure fuel system, Never perform any work engine running or within 60 minutes after the engine stops. It is recommended to wear safety glasses. Ensure the absolute cleanliness to prevent an inrush of foreign substances in high pressure fuel pipe.
In case of engine hesitation at cold starting (No hesitation after warming up) or engine hesitation with excessive exhaust smokes etc… engine hesitation occurs slightly, Clean the injector nozzle. After cleaning the injector nozzle, it is essential to verify that the symptom is corrected well.
IG S/W 'OFF', ENGINE 'OFF'
Wait 30 ~ 60 seconds to release pressure in the common rail.
Remove injectors.(Ensure the absolute cleanliness to prevent an inrush of foreign substances in high pressure fuel pipe.)
Refer to 'Remove and install the injector' of detail inspections (Equipment settings).
Prepare the ultrasonic injector nozzle cleaner.
Fill the ultrasonic injector nozzle cleaner with a cleaning solvent. (water : cleaning solvent = 10 : 1)
Soak injectors in the ultrasonic injector nozzle cleaner and Clean injectors.
Inspect injector nozzles visually after cleaning.
☞ Inspect damage of the nozzle, blocked hole of the nozzle and widen hole of the nozzle.
Never clean the nozzle with cotton gloves, cotton or paper towel, sandpaper, wire brush after cleaning.
Install injectors, it is essential to verify that the symptom is corrected.
