In case that poor acceleration occurs and excessive black smoke is discharged. If 'EGR actuator', 'Air mass meter' current data are abnormal and 'Boost pressure sensor' current data is NOT increased normally, Inspect intake system leakage.
Connect scantool to Data Link Connector (DLC).
Allow the engine to warm up to normal operating temperature.
Electrical system and A/CON 'OFF'.
Select 'Air Mass Flow', 'Air Mass Flow per Cylinder', 'Engine speed' and 'VGT Actuator' parameters on the scantool.
Measure waveform of terminal '1' of Boost pressure sensor connector by using oscilloscope.(Do not disconnect)
Monitor current data at idle.
☞ Air mass flow : Must keep 47Kg/h at idle.
☞ Air mass per cylinder : Must keep 510mg/st at idle.
☞ Engine speed : Must keep 770 ± 50 RPM at idle.
☞ VGT actuator : Must be 92% at idle.
☞ Boost pressure sensor : Must be approx 1.1V at idle (Measuring by using oscilloscope )

Monitor current data at stall test.
☞ Air mass flow : Data is increased to 415 Kg/h at stall test
☞ Air mass per cylinder : Data is increased to 1,350 mg/st at stall test.
☞ Engine speed : Must keep 1,600 ± 100 RPM at stall test.
☞ VGT actuator : Must be 69% at stall test.
☞ Boost pressure sensor : Data is increased to approx 2.8V at stall test (Measuring by using oscilloscope)
