Connect GDS to Data Link Connector(DLC)

IG key "ON" , Engine "ON".

3.

Warm up the engine to normal operating temperature.

4.

Monitor diagnostic trouble code and present of trouble code.

5.

Are any DTCs present ?

Is the same DTC detected again?

▶ Substitute with a known-good "4WD-ECU" and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace "4WD-ECM" and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

▶ Check Mechanical problem of Transfer Case

▶ Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor’s and/or "4WD-ECU"s connector or was repaired and "4WD-ECU" memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and go to "Verification of vehicle Repair" procedure.
