The crash strength is varied by the temperature of bumper and parts. So AHS CM uses the ambient air temperature when it calibrates the sensor signal from the pedestrian determination logic.
It receives the ambient air temperature that is detected by "AMBIENT TEMPERATURE SENSOR"(NTCT type thermistor) of the air conditioning system through the high speed CAN line.
If this data is not received normally to AHS CM, it is replaced to the temperature that is detected by AHS CM internal temperature sensor.
