AHS CM monitors constantly whether the contact sensor operates while driving at 25~50 kph.
The optical fiber sensor and the contact sensor detect the pedestrian crashing at 25~50 kph.
If a crash occurs, *the crash situations are stored on the EEPROM of AHS CM and the times of messages is saved.
* the optical sensor output status, IG key "ON", vehicle speed, the number of ignition cycle after each situation
【Saving the crash record】The recent 3 of deployment status and 4 of non-deployment status are saved. After saving the record for the deployed status, AHS CM locks the saved data in order to prevent randomly deleting the data.
Regardless of whether there is deployment or not, AHS CM processes as an undeployed event and saves the crash record when the vehicle speed is 20~24kph, or 56~60kph.
The actuator's "FIRE" message counter is calculated based on the number of AHS CM's order. It is calculated on the actuator's fire counter even if the actuator is not deployed because of malfunction.
