Any change in the values indicates a poor connection. Was a connector problem found?
 | ▶ Repair the connector. Go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure. |
 | ▶ Go to "Power Circuit Inspection" procedure. |
Disconnect the A/C Pressure Sensor and PCM connectors and inspect for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration or damage. Reconnect the connectors.
Connect the GDS and go to ""Current Data"".
Monitor A/C Pressure Sensor values in Current Data, check and wiggle the harness(es), connector(s), and terminal(s).

IG "OFF". Disconnect the A/C pressure sensor connector.
IG "ON"
Measure the voltage between power terminal of A/C pressure sensor harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification : Approx. 5V
Is the measured voltage within specification ?
| ▶ Go to "Ground Circuit Inspection" procedure. |
| ▶ Repair open or short to ground in harness. Go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure. |
IG "OFF". Disconnect the A/C pressure sensor connector.
IG "ON"
Measure the voltage between power terminal of A/C pressure sensor harness connector and chassis ground.(Measurement "A")
Measure the voltage between power and ground terminals of A/C pressure sensor harness connector.(Measurement "B")
Specification : The Difference between "A" and "B" is below 200mV.
Is the measured voltage within specification ?
| ▶ Go to "Signal Circuit Inspection" procedure. |
| ▶ Repair as necessary. Go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure. |
IG "OFF". Disconnect the A/C pressure sensor connector.
IG "ON"
Measure the voltage between signal terminal of A/C pressure sensor harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification : Approx. 0V
Is the measured voltage within specification ?
| ▶ Go to "Component Inspection" procedure. |
| ▶ Go to "Check short to battery in harness" procedure. |
IG "OFF". Disconnect A/C pressure sensor and PCM connector.
Measure the resistance between signal and power terminals of A/C pressure sensor harness connector.
Specification : Infinite
Is the measured resistance within specification?
| ▶ Go to "Component Inspection" procedure. |
| ▶ Repair short to battery in harness. Go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure. |
