Disconnect the Generator and PCM connectors and inspect for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration or damage. Reconnect the connectors.

Connect the GDS and go to ""Current Data"".

Monitor Generator values in Current Data, check and wiggle the harness(es), connector(s), and terminal(s).

Any change in the values indicates a poor connection. Was a connector problem found?

	▶ Repair the connector. Go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
	▶ Go to "Power Circuit Inspection" procedure.

IG "OFF". Disconnect the main relay.

IG "ON"

Measure the voltage between power supply terminals of main relay harness connector and chassis ground.

Is the measured voltage within specification ?

	▶ Go to "Check short in harness" procedure.
	▶ Repair open or short to ground in power harness. Go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure .

IG "ON"

Measure the voltage between main relay 'ON' power terminals of PCM harness terminal and chassis ground.

Is the measured voltage within specification ?

	▶ Go to "System Inspection" procedure.
	▶ Repair short in power harness. Go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
