DTC Description

The PCM monitors vehicle speed signal from ABS (or ESP) control every 30 seconds, if no signal is detected for more than 20 seconds, the PCM sets a P2159 DTC.

Ignition Voltage between 11V and 16V

Engine Coolant Temperature higher than 60℃(140℉)

MAP less than 32 kPa (4.64 psi)

TPS less than 1%

Engine Speed between 1800 rpm and 6000 rpm

Transmission in gear

Vehicle Speed slower than 10 kph (6.2 mph)

Vehicle Speed slower than 5kph (3.1 mph)

Delta Engine Speed higher than 100rpm

Diagnosis Time
