EPS(MDPS=Motor Driving Power Steering) ECU measures motor velocity by using motor position sensor and motor output torque by using current sensor to confirm whether the motor operates normally or not. After measure then it compares measured values and calculated values. EPS ECU sets this coed and turns on warning lamp if there is a difference between two values.
