When prying with a flat-tipped screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape, and apply protective tape around the related parts, to prevent damage.
Put on gloves to protect your hands.
Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the delta cover (A).
Using a screwdriver, remove the door inside handle cap (B).
Loosen the mounting screws, and then remove the door trim (A).
Push the hook (B), disconnect the inside handle cable cage (A).
Push the lock pin (A), disconnect the power window connector (B).
Remove the door trim
Install in the reverse order of removal.
Make sure connectors are connected properly and each rod is connected securely.
Make sure the door lock and opens properly.
Replace ant damaged clips.
Remove the door trim.
Loosen the mounting screws, then remove the inside handle (A).
Install in the reverse order of removal.
Make sure the door lock and opens properly.
Replace ant damaged clips.
Remove the following parts.
Door trim
Door belt weatherstrip
Door delta moulding
Remove the glass mounting plug hole.
Using the door switch to align the mounting hole with the hole on the door glass.
If it is impossible, align the hole by hand after removing the motor.
Be careful not to drop to glass and scratch the glass surface.
Carefully adjust the glass (B) until you can see the bolts, then loosen them. Separate the glass from the glass run and carefully pull the glass out through the window slot.
Tightening torque :
7.8~11.8 N.m (0.8~1.2 kgf.m, 5.8~8.7 lb-ft)
Installation is the reverse the removal.
Roll the glass up down to see if it move freely without binding
Adjust the position of the glass as needed.
Make sure the door lock and opens properly.
Replace ant damaged clips
Remove the door trim.
Drill out the rivets to remove the speaker (B) from the door module.
Disconnect the speaker connector (A).
Install in the reverse order of removal.
Use sheet metal screws to secure the speaker.
Make sure the door lock and opens properly.
Make sure the connector is connected properly.
Remove the door trim.
Disconnect the connector (A)
After loosening the mounting screws, then remove the power window motor (B).
Install in the reverse order of removal.
Grease should be applied to areas where there is rotational parts and springs.
Roll the glass up and down to see if it move freely without binding.
Make sure the door lock and opens properly.
Disconnect cap (A), loosen the mounting bolt.
Remove the handle cover (B).
Tightening torque :
7.8~11.8 N.m (0.8~1.2 kgf.m, 5.8~8.7 lb-ft)
Remove the outside handle (A), by sliding it rearward.
Install in the reverse order of removal.
Roll the glass up and down to see if it move freely without binding.
Make sure the door lock and open properly.
Remove the following parts.
Door trim
Window glass
Outside handle
Loosen the mounting screw (A).
Loosen the mounting bolts and nut, then remove the rear channel (A).
Tightening torque :
6.9~10.8 N.m (0.7~1.1 kgf.m, 5.1~8.0 lb-ft)
Loosen the door module mounting bolts and latch mounting screws
Remove the door module (A)
Tightening torque :
6.9~10.8 N.m (0.7~1.1 kgf.m, 5.1~8.0 lb-ft)
Remove the wiring mounting clip (A) and pad (B).
Disconnect the cap (A).
Push the hook, disconnect the main wiring connector (B).
Remove the door module.
Install in the reverse order of removal.
Grease should be applied to areas where there is rotational parts and springs.
Roll the glass up and down to see if it move freely without binding.
Make sure the door lock and opens properly.
Check the glass run channel for damage or deterioration, and replace them necessary.
Remove the rear door trim.
Carefully adjust the glass (A) until you can see the screws, then loosen them. Separate the glass from the glass run and carefully pull the glass out through the window slot.
Check that the glass moves smoothly.
Raise the glass fully, and check for gaps.
Check that the glass contacts the glass run channel evenly.
Make sure the door latches securely without slamming it. If necessary adjust the striker (A): The striker nuts are fixed. The striker can be fine adjusted up or down, and in or out.
Loosen the bolts (B), then insert a shop towel between the body and striker.
Tightening torque :
B : 16.7~21.6 N.m (1.7~2.2 kgf.m, 12.3~15.9 lb-ft)
Lightly tighten the screws.
Wrap the striker with a shop towel, then adjust the striker by tapping it with a plastic hammer. Do not tap the striker too hard.
Loosen the screws and remove the shop towel.
Lightly tighten the screws.
Hold the outer handle out, and push the door against the body to be sure the striker allows a flush fit. If the door latches properly, tighten the screws and recheck.
After installing the door, check for a flush fit with the body, then check for equal gaps between the front, rear, and bottom, door edges and the body. Check that the door and body edges are parallel. Before adjusting, replace the mounting bolts.
Check that the door and body edges are parallel.
Place the vehicle on a firm, level surface when adjusting the doors.
Adjust at the hinges (A):
Loosen the door mounting bolts slightly, and move the door IN or OUT until it aligns flush with the body.
Loosen the hinge mounting bolts slightly, and move the door BACKWARD or FORWARD, UP or DOWN as necessary to equalize the gaps.
Place a shop towel on the jack to prevent damage to the door when adjusting the door.
Tightening torque :
B: 21.6~26.5 N.m (2.2 ~2.7 kgf.m, 15.9~19.5 lb-ft)
C: 33.3~41.2 N.m (3.4~4.2 kgf.m, 24.6~30.4 lb-ft)
Grease the pivot portions of the hinges indicated by the arrows.
Check for water leaks.
