Check the handsfree remote control switch for resistance between No.2 and No.5 terminals in each switch position.

Remove the driver airbag module.
(Refer to Restraint - "Airbag module")
Remove the steering wheel front cover (A) after loosening the screws.
Disconnect the audio remote control switch connector (A).
Remove the handsfree remote switch (A) after loosening the screws.
Install the handsfree remote switch to the steering wheel front cover.
Install the steering wheel front cover.
Reconnect the handsfree remote control switch connector and airbag connectors.
Make sure that the switch connector is plugged in properly.
Install the driver airbag module.
