Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

Remove the center fascia panel (A).

(Refer to Body - "Crash pad")

Disconnect the connectors and cables (A) from center fascia panel.

Remove the heater control unit (A) with the rear glass defogger switch.

Install the heater control unit.

Install the center fascia panel.

It will be able to diagnose defects of rear glass defogger with GDS quickly. GDS can operates actuator forcefully, input/output value monitoring and self diagnosis.

Select "Current data", if you will check current data of rear glass defogger system. It provides input/output status of rear glass defogger.

If you will check the rear glass defogger operation forcefully, select "Actuation test".

To check the DTC of the rear glass defogger, select "Diagnostic trouble codes"
