LP-EGR Valve is vacuum controlled valve. It is composed of a solenoid valve that controls the vacuum volume and a valve that opens by this vacuum. The vacuum force created by diaphragm in the valve is switched to straight line motion, and the valve is opened by the cam that switches this straight line motion into rotating motion. The exhaust gas flowing into the LP-EGR is clean EGR gas. It has no carbon discharge effects of the conventional EGR system. In addition, the feedback position sensor is embedded so the ECM can detect the actual opening angle.
