Remove the front muffler (A).
Turn the ignition switch off.
Disconnect the Exhaust Pressure Control Valve connector.
Check if there is the foreign material inside the Exhaust Pressure Control Valve.
Measure the resistance between 1 and 3 terminal of the Exhaust Pressure Control Valve.
Check that the resistance is within the specification.

Connect the GDS to the data link connector.
Perform the fully open and the fully closing operation of the EPCV by using the actuation test.
Check that the voltage is within the specification.

Turn the ignition switch off and disconnect the battery nagative (-) cable.
Lift the vehicle.
Remove the front muffler (A).
Disconnect the Exhaust Pressure Control Valve connector (A).
Remove the Exhaust Pressure Control Valve (C) after removing the mounting nuts (B).
Install in the reverse order of removal.
Exhaust Pressure Control Valve installation nut :
39.2 ~ 58.9 N.m (4.0 ~ 6.0 kgf.m, 28.9 ~ 43.4 lb-ft)
