Disconnect the Main Relay and PCM connectors and inspect for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration or damage. Reconnect the connectors.
Connect the GDS and go to ""Current Data"".
Monitor Main Relay values in Current Data, check and wiggle the harness(es), connector(s), and terminal(s).
Any change in the values indicates a poor connection. Was a connector problem found?

IG "OFF". Disconnect the main relay.
IG "ON"
Measure the voltage between power supply terminals of main relay harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification : Approx. B+ (Battery Voltage)
Is the measured voltage within specification ?

IG "OFF". Disconnect the main relay and PCM connector.
Measure the resistance between control terminal of main relay harness connector and chasses ground.
Specification : Infinite
Is the measured resistance within specification ?

IIG "OFF". Disconnect the main relay and PCM connector.
Measure the resistance between control terminal of main relay harness connector and main relay control terminal of PCM harness connector.
Specification : Approx. below 1Ω
Is the measured resistance within specification ?
