DTC Description

The PCM monitors signals from both Stop lamp switches. If both switches have High or Low voltage simultaneously, (more than 0.5 sec) the PCM sets a P0504 DTC.

The one brake signal's change duration when another signal has been changed longer than 0.5 sec.

Case2

Vehicle speed less than 3 kph (1.8 mph)

Vehicle acceleration slower than -6kph/s

Stop lamp "OFF" and no change of the stop lamp signal for more 3
