Many malfunctions in the electrical system are caused by poor harness and terminals.
Faults can also be caused by interference from other electrical systems, and mechanical or chemical damage.
Thoroughly check all connectors (and connections) for looseness, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, and/or damage.

IG key "OFF" and engine "OFF".
Disconnect AHS CM harness connector and "ACTIVE HOOD LIFT ACTUATOR RH" harness connector.
Measure the resistance between "Actuator On RH" terminal of AHS CM harness connector and power terminal of "ACTIVE HOOD LIFT ACTUATOR RH" harness connector.
Specification : Continuity (below 1.0Ω)
Is the measured resistance within the specification?

IG key "OFF" and engine "OFF".
Disconnect AHS CM harness connector and "ACTIVE HOOD LIFT ACTUATOR RH" harness connector.
IG key "ON" and engine "OFF".
Measure the voltage between power terminal of "ACTIVE HOOD LIFT ACTUATOR RH" harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification : Approx. below 0.2V
Is the measured voltage within the specification?

IG key "OFF" and engine "OFF".
Disconnect AHS CM harness connector and "ACTIVE HOOD LIFT ACTUATOR RH" harness connector.
Measure the resistance between power terminal of "ACTIVE HOOD LIFT ACTUATOR RH" harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification : Discontinuity ( Infinite Ω )
Is the measured resistance within the specification?

IG key "OFF" and engine "OFF".

Measure the resistance between ground terminal of "ACTIVE HOOD LIFT ACTUATOR RH" harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification : Continuity (below 1.0Ω)
Is the measured resistance within the specification?

Measure the voltage between ground terminal of "ACTIVE HOOD LIFT ACTUATOR RH" harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification : Approx. below 0.2V
