PCM monitors output signals from A/C pressure sensor. If a signal is below 0.25V for more than 10 seconds, the PCM sets a P0532 DTC.
Item | Detecting Condition | Possible cause |
DTC Strategy |
•
Detects sensor signal short to low voltage | 1. Poor connection 2. Open in power circuit 3. Open or short to ground in signal circuit 4. Faulty A/C pressure sensor 5. Faulty PCM |
Enable Conditions |
•
Engine running | |
Threshold value |
•
Sensor output voltage less than 0.25V
Diagnosis Time |
•
Continuous (More than 10 seconds failure for every 20 seconds test )
MIL On Condition |
•
DTC only (NO MIL ON) |
