Remove the main wiring harness (A).
Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
Remove the ECM.
(Refer to Emission Control System - "ECM")
Remove the main wiring harness (A).
Disconnect the water sensor connector (A), the heater connector (B).
Disconnect the fuel inlet tube quick-connector (C) and the fuel outlet tube quick-connector (D).

Remove the fuel filter bracket installation bolts (A), and then remove the fuel filter from the vehicle.
Remove the fuel filter assembly from the bracket after removing the bracket 3 bolts (A).
Remove the water sensor (B).
After removing the fuel filter (A) from the fuel filter assembly, replace it with a new one, and then install the fuel filter assembly in accordance with reverse of above steps.
When replacing the fuel filter, must replace the O-ring.
Start the engine and check that there is any leak on the low pressure fuel circuit including the fuel filter.
Fuel filter bracket installation nut :
7.8 ~ 11.8 N.m (0.8 ~ 1.2 kgf.m, 5.8 ~ 8.7 lb-ft)

7.8 ~ 11.8 N.m (0.8 ~ 1.2 kgf.m, 5.8 ~ 8.7 lb-ft)
