Remove the rail pressure regulator valve (A) after rotating it from the common rail.
Turn ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect the rail pressure regulator valve connector.
Measure resistance between terminal 1 and 2 of the valve.
Check that the resistance is within the specification.
Specification: Refer to “Specification” section.
Turn the ignition switch off and disconnect the battery nagative (-) cable.
Disconnect the rail pressure regulator valve.
Remove the rail pressure regulator valve (A) after rotating it from the common rail.
Install the component with the specified torques.
Install in the reverse order of removal.
Rail pressure regulator valve installation :
90 ~ 100 N.m (9.2 ~ 10.1 kgf.m, 66.4 ~ 73.7 lb-ft)
