1.
Disconnect the gear boots (A) and then remove the shift lever knob (B) by Rotating counter-clockwise.
Disconnect the gear boots (A) and then remove the shift lever knob (B) by Rotating counter-clockwise.
Remove the floor console assembly.
(Refer to Body - " Floor Console")
Remove the air duct (A).
Remove the clip (A) and then remove the shift & select cable from the shift lever assembly.
Remove the cable guide (A) from lever assembly and then loosen the shift lever mounting bolts (B).
Tightening torque :
8.8 ~ 13.7 N.m (0.9 ~ 1.4 kgf.m, 6.5 ~ 10.1 lb-ft)
Install in the reverse order of removal.
When installing, set room side Shift lever and T/M side lever to "N" position.
Check operating of lever of T/M side when operating shift lever after assembly.
When shift lever to "R" position, check the position of "skirt".
