Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.

Remove the front bumper.

(Refer to Body - "Front Bumper")

Disconnect the active hood unit connector (A).

Remove the active hood unit by loosening the mounting bolts.

Install in the reverse order of removal.
